A Dua For Our Brother

Assalammualaikum wr wb,

A few days ago, one of our staff Bro Shamsul who have been working with Islamicevents..sg as a part timer and full time staff since February 2016 was admitted to ICU @ Tan Tan Seng Hospital on Tuesday, 11th April 2017.

For those who know him,

 

Bro Shamsul have had a blood clot near his brain for quite a while. He had frequent check ups and doctors were not able to give him medicine to reduce the blood clot as it may complicate his health.

On Tuesday, 11th April 2017, the blood clot burst and he was rushed to the hospital around 1am. Doctors had performed an immediate operation on him and condition is now stable.   

For those who wish to visit him, please take note on the following update by his sister. 

Assalamualaikum semua. This is Watee adek shamsul. Just to update, abg icam's brain pressure is abit on the high side. They did scan just now and result showed that its a lil more swelled up. To decrease the pressure, they have to paralyse him and sedate him even more for these 2-3 days to make him totally relax. This period is very critical for him. If swell does not subside, may have to undergo extremely major op. Appreciate understanding to visit him thru the glass door only. Pls do not enter the room until further notice. Please pass the msg ard. Thank u.

To prepare and serve 1,000 Meals every Friday to be distributed at Sultan Mosque and Hj Mohd Salleh Mosque. The meals are meant for everyone and served on a first come first serve basis.

Catered for : Mosque goers praying at the said mosque

RAMADAN MUTTON PROJECT

Alhamdulillah, we have raised 1687 kg of Mutton for the last 4 weeks. We hope to achieve a higher target this coming Ramadan than previous years of 3998 kg. 

In collaboration with various mosques in Singapore, we are helping and supporting them to reduce the costs on iftar and bubur Ramadan. 

We provide the following options to sponsor Fresh or Frozen Meat.

** For fresh mutton, slaughtering is scheduled on 22nd May 2017 in Western Australia and will be flown back to Singapore and distributed to the various mosques according to the schedules provided to us.
