Ramadan Iftar Meals 2017
Ramadan project by FREE FOOD FOR ALL
The Messenger of Allah S.A.W said:
"Whoever provides the food for a fasting person to break his fast with, then for him is the same reward as his (the fasting person's), without anything being diminished from the reward of the fasting person."

This would be the second year that FREE FOOD FOR ALL organises this activity to help provide Iftar meals for 150 families who falls in the poverty levels in Singapore. They aim provide for 20 days of meals this coming Ramadan.
The families have been identified by various social services in Eunos, Chai Chee, MacPherson, Boon Lay and Marsiling.
WHO is FREE FOOD FOR ALL?
They are a registered charity (UEN: 201503391Z) with a mission to promote and propagate a kind and caring Community by providing FREE HALAL FOOD to the less fortunate, REGARDLESS OF RACE OR RELIGION. From our inception till date, we are close to providing 200,000 meals to the Community.
What will be provided for the families?
The menu for the meals will differ from day to day but they will consist of the following:
Each meal:
+ 1 Carbo
+ 1 Protein
+ 1 Side Dish
+ 1 Dessert
+ Kurma ( dates )
Each meal will be packed in bento sets.
How can you support this project?
1) Sponsor the meals.
- $27 can pay for a family of 4 people or 4 meals.
- $270 can pay for 10 families ( 40 meals )
- $2700 can pay for 100 families ( 400 meals )
or
- $4050 for 150 families ( 600 meals )
Payment can be made in the following ways

iv) We can also collect the amount from your home or walk-in to our office ( For Amounts $200 and above )

Project Iftar Cambodia 2017
Alhamdulillah. We have received in total contributions to cover 9 iftars equivalent to 2 days plus for the 4 villages. We still have 111 packages more to go.
Sponsorship for Iftar at 4 different villages in Cambodia daily throughout
entire month of Ramadan. Iftar for 100 - 150 people per location.
Items prepared for each iftar session:
- Rice
- 3 different dishes
- Fruits & Dates
- Cordial Syrup Drink
Sponsorship Amount:
Sponsor a village: $480 ( 10 names )
or Share to Sponsor a villlage: $48 ( 1 Name )
4 Villages x 30 days = 120 packages available
- Dua Selamat and sponsors names will be read by the villagers just before Iftar for that particular day.
- Photos and videos will be taken and publish at www.islamicevents.sg/blog on a weekly basis during Ramadan.
- Sponsors will receive updates via email within 1 week after each iftar session.

As of today, Friday, 28th April 2017, the sponsored amount of meals have reached 3790 meals for the last 5 weeks. On behalf of FREE FOOD FOR ALL, we thank you for your generous contribution.
700 meals was distributed last week. In Total 3600 meals have been distributed.
For this week, Free Food For All will also be distributing 750 meals.
300 Meals will be prepared at Masjid Sultan
250 Meals will be prepared at Masjid Haji Muhammad Salleh ( Makam Habib Noh )
200 Mealls will be prepare at Masjid Mydin
The remaining meals will be forwarded in the future.
May Allah swt permit us to istiqamah on this effort and insyallah we can raise higher amounts each week.
This campaign will stop temporarily from the 19th of May 2017 as we shift gears towards Ramadan. There will be another campaign by FREE FOOD FOR ALL to feed 150 families in Ramadan. Look out for it.

EVENT MISSION
To prepare and serve 1,000 Meals every Friday to be distributed at Sultan Mosque and Hj Mohd Salleh Mosque. The meals are meant for everyone and served on a first come first serve basis.
We believe that these are the times where harmony and peace among our brethren in humanity needs to be encouraged and supported. What better way to spread love and kindness then to FEED.

Catered for : Mosque goers praying at the said mosque
Price/meal : $ 2.50
To contribute to this cause, you may make sponsorships in multiple of $25, $50, $100 and $1000.

RAMADAN MUTTON PROJECT
Alhamdulillah, we have raised 2283 kg of Mutton for the last 7 weeks. We hope to achieve a higher target this coming Ramadan than previous years of 3998 kg.
In collaboration with various mosques in Singapore, we are helping and supporting them to reduce the costs on iftar and bubur Ramadan.
We provide the following options to sponsor Fresh or Frozen Meat.

** For fresh mutton, slaughtering is scheduled on 22nd May 2017 in Western Australia and will be flown back to Singapore and distributed to the various mosques according to the schedules provided to us.

There are many areas in Cambodia that require water to their homes. In this project we are aiming to assist 4,637 families from 3 communities in 25 villages to build them wells, water pump and filters to provide them with clean water.

A total of 583 wells are required to be built. We still have 300 more wells to go.
