Ramadan Kareem

1. Visit your parents ( if you don't live with them )
2. Be kind to others and forgive them if they have made mistakes to you. 
3. Sedaqah a smile to others when you meet them.
4. Give to the poor.
5. Feed a fasting person for iftar. Begin with your close ones, neighbours, community and beyond.
6. Help a friend clear a debt.
7. Volunteer in mosque or in other activities.
8. and more.. 

1. Make it a point to pray more consistently ( Fardhu prayers and Sunnah Prayers )
2. Pay our Zakat - Fitrah & Harta ( find our more at MUIS website www.zakat.sg )
3. Make more doa for yourself and other people. 
4. Supplications to our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W
5. Read the Quran daily ( if possible ). Sometimes an ayat a day is better than not reading anything. 

Dont' be too "Gung Ho" early in Ramadan, pace ourselves especially in Terawih prayers and Reading the Quran. Many of us lose steam by the mid of the month. Set a pace and work on this consistently.

Above is a reminder for our team too especially with the many projects that we are handling now. Do doa for us. 

RAMADAN MUTTON PROJECT

Alhamdulillah, we have raised 3104 kg of Mutton since we started this campaign. 

We have received the total quantity requested by the various organisations and it has totalled to 4330 kg. 

* The above details are quantities requested by the different organisations. 

As the schedules are submitted to us, various request for different types of cuts was requested. Certain cuts will generate some waste on the meat as bones will be removed. Hence the increase the in quantity compared to the previous week. 

The first shipment of Fresh Meat arrived last Thursday, 25th May 2017. The meat is immediately transported to the kitchen for the various cuts to be delivered the next day. 



There will be another shipment next week.

Schedule of deliveries. We have not included the schedule delivery for FREE FOOD FOR ALL as they requested to purchase the meat on their own which amounts to 400kg. 

You may still contribute to this campaign to sponsor the meat for the various organisations.

In collaboration with various mosques and Muslim bodies in Singapore, we are helping and supporting them to reduce the costs on iftar and bubur Ramadan.

For sponsors, you will receive reports of the meat distribution throughout Ramadan 2017. Postings will also be broadcasted in Islamicevents newsletters.

We decided not too posts in our blogs as the reporting data might look the same all the time. This data will only be posted in our newsletters on a weekly basis.

Musollah Clean Up 1438H

Here's a quick report since we launched this.

Items needed
-Telekung - 300 required. 
- Prayer mats (Sejadah) - 300 required.
- Mini Qur'an - 150 required.
- Kain Pelekat - 300 required.
- Rubber slippers - 200 required.
- Minyak Attar - 200 required. 

30 family volunteers needed. Each about 3-5 pax. Preferably with vehicles. 

Updates. 
180 telekungs required. 100 have been pledged. 20 already received.

150 prayer mats required. 100 have been pledged. 50 already received. 

150 mini Qurans required. 2 alredy received. 

Funds raised: $1270. 

Volunteers: 26 Families ( 100 pax  )



Expenditures made so far: 

$323.10 for 150 pieces of Musollah Stickers.
