The end of Ramadan also ends a series of infaq projects on our end. However some of the projects that we started before Ramadan will begin again. Example - Free Food Friday and we have also requests for Mutton Sponsorship for various Masjid throughout the year in smaller quantities.
We are also working with one of the Masjid here in Singapore for their Audio Visual Systems fund raising. Currently we are gathering the best quotes from various contractor. So stay tune for this project soon to be finalised.

FREE FOOD FRIDAY ( Restarting on 21 July 2017 )
 EVENT MISSION
To prepare and serve 1,000 Meals every Friday to be distributed at Sultan Mosque, Hj Mohd Salleh Mosque and Masjid Mydin. The meals are meant for everyone and served on a first come first serve basis.
We believe that these are the times where harmony and peace among our brethren in humanity needs to be encouraged and supported. What better way to spread love and kindness then to FEED.
Distribution will restart on Friday, 21st July 2017.
Every Friday
Time : 12.30 pm
Location : Sultan Mosque, Hj Mohd Salleh Mosque - (makam habib noh) & Masjid Mydin
Food qty : 1,000 pkts for all 3 mosques.
Catered for : Mosque goers
Mosque Price/meal : $ 2.50
To contribute to this cause, you may make sponsorships in multiple of $25, $50, $100 and $1000.
INFAQ MUTTON ( All year round ) ( New Campaign)
 EVENT MISSION
To support Mosques and Muslims organisation to provide halal mutton for their Events / Majlis.
Through out the year we have had requests from various organisation for sponsorship of mutton and often we have to reject them because we could only raise funds only during certain periods like Ramadan or when we have Aqiqah Australia projects where we could bring in the mutton from Australia.
To make this effort more sustainable and us to be able to response to requests we decided to run this project all year around.
This would also provide avenues for the community to continue supporting various events through out the year.
For Infaq Mutton ( All year round ), we will only raise for Frozen Mutton as it is easier to acquire and cheaper to purchase compared to Fresh Meat.
Current Mutton Request:
1. Masjid Wak Tanjong - 83 kg of mutton. Delivered on 31 Aug 2017.
To feed 400 to 500 people of Eid Mosque Goers on 1 Sep 2017 ( Eiduladha ). Food will be
given after Solat Eidul Adha.
Infaq Raya Hamper
Let's experience the spirit of E'id together.
While we eat lontong, rendang and many festive foods during Eid, they are small groups of people who have never been able to see Eid as we are. This groups falls under the families that have their bread winner in prison due to drug issues. The ones that they hurt is not just them but the family they leave behind fending for themselves in this tough society.
In this project, we may not be able to solve every single one of the family issues but here we have identified about 500 families and we hope this Raya Hampers will uplift their spirit this Eid.
Our raya hampers will be distributed to Hira society beneficiary. Your contribution will help former drug addicts' family in providing some reliefs in preparation for this coming Hari Raya.
To date we have received 83 hamper orders.
This campaign will close on 18th July 2017.
 
The First batch of distributions was conducted on 22 June 2017 @ Hira Society.
Project Goodwill Cambodia
 Due to very little response for this project last Ramadan, we have reschedule the distribution to 1st and 2nd September which is during Eiduladha.
In this project goodwill, you will have the opportunity to sponsor the poor families in Cambodia for their daily necessities.
The following package can last for one month: Infaq $73
1. Rice - 20kg
2. Raw Sugar - 2kg
3. Condensed Milk - 5 cans
4. Syrup - 1 Bottle
5. Cooking Oil - 1 liter
6. Can Sardine Ikan - 12 cans
The provision above can last one family a month. Depending on the size of the family.
Some may need 2 packages.
Total packages collected: 16
We will require a minimum of 100 packages to proceed with the distribution.

Ramadan Mutton Project
Total weight: 4,226 kg of mutton managed to raise.
Total we had to raise: 4657 kg ( Including Wastage )
Shortage of 431 kg
Wastage is produced when cuts are made and bones are removed.
Towards the end of this campaign we used some of our profits to cover the costs of remaining shortage of meat required and we had to turn down one event which requested for another 300kg of meat during Ramadan.
In summary
Overall for this campaign, we performed much better compared to 2016 however due to the high requests we were not able to cope with the numbers. Perhaps we should better control the requests and make a better estimation of numbers for next year's Ramadan.
So we hope with the new Infaq Mutton ( All Year Round ) Campaign it can buffer the shortfall.
