It has been quite a while since we last update you on Infaq updates. Below are our on going campaigns.
INFAQ MUTTON ( All year round )
EVENT MISSION
To support Mosques and Muslims organisation to provide halal mutton for their Events / Majlis.
Through out the year we have had requests from various organisation for sponsorship of mutton and often we have to reject them because we could only raise funds only during certain periods like Ramadan or when we have Aqiqah Australia projects where we could bring in the mutton from Australia.
To make this effort more sustainable and us to be able to response to requests we decided to run this project all year around.
This would also provide avenues for the community to continue supporting various events through out the year.
For Infaq Mutton ( All year round ), we will only raise for Frozen Mutton as it is easier to acquire and cheaper to purchase compared to Fresh Meat.
Current Mutton Request:
1. Masjid Wak Tanjong - 83 kg of mutton. Delivered on 31 Aug 2017.
To feed 400 to 500 people of Eid Mosque Goers on 1 Sep 2017 ( Eiduladha ). Food will be
given after Solat Eidul Adha. This was the initial goal.
Current sponsorship amount: 20 kg collected.
Masjid Wak Tanjong have managed to raised 60 kg from its volunteers. They requested for another 10kg so that they are able to cook more for Eiduladha.

FREE FOOD FRIDAY ( Restarted on 21 July 2017 )
The collection for this project has been slower than pre Ramadan days.
EVENT MISSION
To prepare and serve 1,000 Meals every Friday to be distributed at Sultan Mosque, Hj Mohd Salleh Mosque and Masjid Mydin. The meals are meant for everyone and served on a first come first serve basis.
We believe that these are the times where harmony and peace among our brethren in humanity needs to be encouraged and supported. What better way to spread love and kindness then to FEED.
Distribution have restarted on Friday, 21st July 2017.
Every Friday
Time : 12.30 pm
Location : Sultan Mosque, Hj Mohd Salleh Mosque - (makam habib noh) & Masjid Mydin
Catered for : Mosque goers
Mosque Price/meal : $ 2.50
Although the target was to give away 700 meals, we are only able to get 200 meal sponsors for the last 3 weeks.
To contribute to this cause, you may make sponsorships in multiple of $25, $50, $100 and $1000.
Project Goodwill Cambodia
We have received about 82 packages thus far. We will be closing this campaign this Thursday, 24 August 2017 to prepare for the Qurban mission.
In this project goodwill, you will have the opportunity to sponsor the poor families in Cambodia for their daily necessities.
The following package can last for one month: Infaq $73
1. Rice - 20kg
2. Raw Sugar - 2kg
3. Condensed Milk - 5 cans
4. Syrup - 1 Bottle
5. Cooking Oil - 1 liter
6. Can Sardine Ikan - 12 cans
The provision above can last one family a month. Depending on the size of the family.
Some may need 2 packages.
