A hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says that a voice was once heard commanding a cloud to irrigate a man's garden. When the man was asked what he did with the garden, he replied that he estimated the produce of his garden. Then he distributed one-third to charity, kept one-third for himself and his family, and invested one-third back into the garden.
Just as Allah (SWT) sent a cloud for this man who gave to the poor, Allah will also provide for us in miraculous ways if we give what we love for the pleasure of Allah, and in service of mankind. As the hadith beautifully illustrates, Allah replaces what we give and multiplies it. The notion of giving, especially giving and helping those in need, is so entrenched in Islam. The Almighty promises us that if we train ourselves to give in times of ease and hardship, our sustenance will
increase.
Giving from what we are given from The Provider and Owner of everything not only releases us from the disease of want, but also reminds us that everything belongs to Allah (SWT) and must be used for the well-being of all of humanity. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "Give (in charity) and do not give reluctantly lest Allah should give you in a limited amount; and do not withhold your money lest Allah should withhold it from you." [Sahih al-Bukhari]

INFAQ: Project Clean Water in Cambodia

There are many areas in Cambodia that require clean water to their homes. In this project we are aiming to assist 4,637 families from 3 communities in 25 villages to build them wells, water pump and filters to provide them with clean water.
Infaq a full well - $600

A total of 583 wells are required to be built. We still have 270 more wells to go.

INFAQ: Mutton ( All Year Round )
 Mission: To support mosques and muslim organisations to provide halal mutton for their events / majlis.
Throughout the year we've had multiple requests from various organisations for sponsorship of mutton, and often we have to reject them because we could only raise funds only during certain periods like Ramadan, or when we have Aqiqah Australia projects where we can bring in the mutton from Australia.
To make this effort more sustainable, and for us to be able to respond to these requests, we decided to run this project all year round.
This also provides avenues for the community to continue supporting various events throughout the year.
For Infaq Mutton ( All Year Round ), we will only raise funds for frozen mutton, as it is much easier to acquire and cheaper to purchase compared to fresh mutton.

INFAQ: Free Food Friday
 Since 22nd March this year, we have raised over 6410 meals and they have all been distributed every Friday at various mosques.
The amount of meals distributed has been considerably less lately as this project is dependent on the community's contributions.
If you are keen to contribute, read on.
Free Food For All (FFFA) has a mission to prepare and serve 1,000 meals every Friday, which will be distributed at Sultan Mosque and Hj Mohd Salleh Mosque. The meals are meant for everyone and served on a first come first serve basis.
FFFA believes that these are the times where harmony and peace among our brethren in humanity needs to be encouraged and supported. What better way to spread love and kindness than to feed? :)
