New Arabic Classes in October...

The Modern Standard Arabic is a course in contemporary standard Arabic consisting of 7 modules. The course seeks to enable students to speak, understand, read and write everyday standard Arabic. Thus is done by adopting a conversation-based approach in teaching Arabic. Students who have completed this course will be comfortable speaking and understanding standard Arabic as well as be able to read and understand the Arabic script.

Course Outline

* This 20-week course, the first of 7 levels, aims to provide participants with the basic linguistic foundation in Modern Standard Arabic.
* It is a highly interactive course that engages students in Arabic conversational activities that will enrich their vocabulary and understanding of the use of the language.
* In addition to the class, are laboratory sessions with the use of the Rosetta Stone Dynamic Immersion Programe. The lab sessions provides flexibility and a high level of vocabulary retention for the students.

* At the end of the course, students will be equipped with the ability to speak and understand basic Arabic.
