Dear ,

Amazingly we had started to receive orders for the Solat 3D DVD even though the products are not out yet as the Suppliers are still producing it and fine tuning the contents. Insyallah it will be out by the end of 2nd week of April and we'll send to those who have already paid for it.

This week we met up with entrepreneurs like Faizal from Al Nitak and the current General Manager of Singapore Malay Chambers of Commerce, Haji Ramli Puteh.

Faizal's knowledge on Astronomy is really great as he could tell us when is the next eclipse and so on. He has this program which combines Astronomy with Islam. Really cool stuff. Insyallah in time to come we can collaborate with him on some programs.

We met up with Haji Ramli Puteh to explain how the Malay Chambers of Commerce could use our platform to push out their events and we also took the opportunity to find out more how we could collaborate with them to push the brand further and get other companies to use the tools we provide.

1st Live Web Stream Event

In collaboration with Singapore Malay Chamber of Chambers, we proudly bring to you an online LIVE Web Stream Event.

Previously when we were in NUS, a lot of of our classes were recorded and stream for students who would not be able to make it for classes. Well it doesn't excuse you from coming to class though but its a good way of reflecting back as there will information that you might miss during lesson.

So here we bring to you a similar technology using one of the US programs called USTREAM.Tv (No secret about it yah). Its a platform where anyone out there can do the same with a few laptops in hand, a camera, a microphone and a strong Internet Connection.

So IslamicSG Networks will be teaming up with DYNTV and Verbeter Group - All from the Melayu 2.0 group in Facebook to help SMCCI bring this event live.

Why a Live Event? Wouldn't it discourage people from coming to that event.

Yes and No.

Yes it might encourage people just to go online and watch the event from the comfort of their own home.

No. Similar to watching a Movie in Cinema and watching on DVD, it is the experience that matters. This Live Event will be beneficial to those overseas and to others who might not have the time to come down due to your work. But if you truly want to benefit from the event and build connections with the business people there, its time to come down!

About the Speaker:

Mr Mustafa Kasim Erol obtained his MA from Birmingham University in 1999. He was a teacher of Religious Education at various schools from 2002 to 2008 recently at Alexandra High School, Birmingham.

He founded several societies and acted as chairman in United Kingdom, namely West Educational Society (2000-2002), Eurasia Educational Society (2003-2005) Society of Dialogue between Religions (2005-2008).

He works for the Journalists and Writers Foundation as well as working part time as an Examiner and Team Leader at Cambridge University. He is currently a PhD candidate at Birmingham City University on Religious Education.
