Assalammualaikum wr wb, Dear , Recently Islamicevents.sg subscribers have hit just over 600 subscribers and every week we have over 60% of our readers opening the emails we sent. If we compare to other mailing lists, only 10% to 20% opens the other emails. So this is another strategic goal to hit. This email is going to be longer than usual. So read on. Advertisement

But quantity without quality is also a problem. After more than a year in Business, we realise that the numbers doesn't really mean anything without having HIGH Effectiveness in advertising. We can splash adverts at newspapers and television but if the cause and effects does not result to be positive then that would be a waste on advertising dollars. Hence we need to look into why it doesn't work? Why am I writing about this? Because if you are reading this email, you are the special ones. Recently we have reached over 600 members of which we have 50%-60% readership weekly. Eh that's only 300 readers right. So little. Yes the numbers seems little but the wave effect is larger than you might think. In marketing they call this the SPILL OVER effect. How do we actually manage to achieve 25,000 viewers every month with only 300 returning readers every week? As I said quality beats quantity at all times. With quality readers like you, the quality readers will give off this energy which eventually spreads the word about our existence. On average, each one of you actually referred another 82 friends to come to our site. Hence we have to thank you for that effort and may Allah swt reward you too. Rasullulah saw had very few trusted friends when he started. Look at how large the Muslim population is right now. More than 1 Billion in population. Can we emulate him and follow his examples. As you can see from the above diagram, we know how many emails are sent out each week, how many people opened it up and how many actually click the links. Without this we will have no idea if the emails we sent are effective or not. As our system is an OPT IN system, it means that you have to voluntarily subscribe to us to receive our updates. You can also volunteerly OPT OUT if you don't wish to receive emails like this. We can't stop you from doing that because you have all the rights to ignore our emails. No point if we have 10,000 people and we can't deliver effectively to you, change your lives and continue giving you great content. Also this really helps to differentiate the special ones and those who are not. So thank you for being the special one. So do we stop at 600? We are expecting the numbers to jump soon however we need your trusts and support to find the quality readers too. So what do you have to do? Its not that hard really. 2nd half of 2009 The second part of the year will see us doing more stuff than what you see today. You will definitely get more Email Notifications and we are looking at doing more frequent Scheduled LIVE online Talks with the help of another partnering company which we cannot reveal now as we are still in the conceptualisation stage.
