Eid Mubarak to you and we hope you are having a great time with your love ones. If you are among those that are overseas or far away from family, we hope you are doing well there too. In many countries, the Aidilfitri celebrations is only for one day. In this region, the Muslims celebrate Aidilfitri for the whole month of Syawal ( 30 days ). Use this time to rekindle with relatives, catch up with old contacts and forgive and forget. Also let us be reminded that we can go the extra mile to gain more good deeds by doing the 6 day fast. Syawal has many benefits. Amongst them, as reported in a hadith which means: He who fasts in the month of Ramadhan followed by 6 days in Syawal, it is as if he has fasted for 1 year. => See this article.
