Just a quick update, we are in the mids of looking for a Part Time Editor to help us out in publishing of articles and getting writers to submit their papers and managing their payment accounts. After the past successes, 'Selawat ke atas Rasulullah SAW' is back for its 4th installment insyaAllah! This time round, the emphasis will be on the famous Qasidah Burdah of Imam al-Busairi and also on the youth. The Burdah has been recited for hundreds of years, in all kinds of occasions, and in many different melodies. You might have heard it before without realizing that you were listening to the Qasidah Burdah even! The popular track 'Burdah' by Mesut Kurtis would give you an idea as to how the Burdah is sung.

"International Women's Day is an annual celebration of women's contributions to the world, whether in the family or out in society. There are many women in this world, both from the past and the present, who have led inspiring lives that we should be in awe of. The history of Islam is peppered with the stories of some amazing women who, in the face of great odds, showed patience, strength and unshakeable faith in Allah. There was Asiyah, wife of the Pharaoh and adoptive mother of Nabi Musa, who embraced the teachings of her son and worshipped Allah, saying:
There was Maryam, mother of Nabi 'Isa, revered in Islam for her righteousness and virtue, and for her steadfast faith in Allah despite the fitnah and distress she endured while pregnant. There was also Khadijah, first wife of Nabi Muhammad s.a.w., and the first person (besides the Prophet) to convert to Islam. Besides having been known to be a compassionate and benevolent woman prior to her marriage, she wholeheartedly trusted Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. and supported him through the hardships he faced during da'wah in the early stages of Islam. I've also read that she used the wealth she had amassed as a trader to provide the necessary financial support for her husband'sda'wah.

When I think that we are but made up of "I dnt know how many ''-llions'' of protons, neutrons & electrons constantly rotating, revolving & circulating ceaselessly.......... Why didnt any accident happen? When I think of the nuclear reactor crisis in Japan, I can't help but marvel at the Greatness of our Most Loving Robb....... Subhanallaah, Allah tends to us even more carefully than a mother cares for her young children!! Alhamdulillah......got to be in another Friday.
