Its two more days to Ramadan and today is the official start of the Ramadan Campaign by the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore ( MUIS ) and it is happening at Al-Istightfar mosque from 9.30 am to 11.00 am today.

Hence it would also be the official launch of Ramadan Youth Challenge (RYC) and Singapore's official Ramadan portal, Ramadan.sg, with Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs as the Guest-of-Honor.

The launch is going to begin with a Quran recitation by a Tahfiz student from Darul Quran Singapore and will cover highlights of this year's Ramadan campaign, followed by an introduction of the Office of Mufti (OOM) web-based apps for smartphone and an opening speech by MUIS President Hj Mohd Alami Musa. There will also be a short reflection featuring aLIVE students and a presentation of Quran Literacy (Q-Lit) by Dr Yaacob Ibrahim.
