In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful & the Most Loving. Peace and Prayers be upon our Most Beloved Prophet Muhammad, his family and fellow companions. Assalammualaikum wr wb, Dear , Alhamdulillah. Its the second week of Ramadan.. Have you seen this numbers - 0,1,2,3? You probably have seen these numbers in the Ramadan Banners, the banners at mosques but what does it really means? The numbers represent the phases this Ramadan campaign this year. Last week was represented by zero which meant to introduce the Al Quran. So what's the next step? When you have the Quran what will you do with it? If you guess it right.. It's "Iqra" - Read / Recite Don't just let the Al Quran be left on the shelves. Let's start reading the Al Quran. You know it is OK to struggle reading the Al Quran as that is just the first step to be familiar with it. Know that Allah swt knows you better than everyone else, so let's have no fear of reading the Quran. Let's be brave and read Allah swt words with pride even if its one letter at a time. Now let's check what we are reading? If you feel you are struggling, we ask that you find yourself a coach or teacher. Not just for your kids yah, even us adults needs to have someone to point to us what we are reading wrong. Now i know that not everyone has the time to find a coach or a teacher but what if we tell you that you don't have to even leave your home to get someone to guide and correct your readings? Really? Follow these steps: 1) Ensure that you have your question ready. Best to have the Al Quran with you at this point. 2) Pick up the phone and call the above numbers. 3) When your phone is answered, the Asatizah will ask you a few question to test your readings. Be patience here. 4) Ask them where you are stuck and insyallah you will be answered. That's cool right? So like we mentioned above don't be too worried if you can't read the Quran well, there's a lot of people that can help you. Be brave my friends.. Hope you are enjoying this Ramadan so far.
