We are back in business after almost 3 months of taking down the portal. The portal was recoded from scratch so that we are able to scale the portal further.

What do we mean by scale the portal further?

Just imagine yourself rebuilding a whole house from scratch. You are to take down the basement, the pipes and more and then put it back in orderly way. Without it you wont be able to take the house to build the second storey or third because the foundations are not able to support it. Similarly we took the portal in that direction and now we are back.

Expect Glitches

With new development, definitely there will plenty of glitches all over as we are looking at thousands of lines of codes, we may not be able to spot what errors you might face. We would like to kindly ask you to write to info@islamicevents.sg if you face the errors and share with us how it looks like with a print screen shot (Fn + Prt Screen ).

Cleaner Look

We are doing our best to make the categories of the different sites looks cleaner so that you are able to navigate the best you can to the different areas such as classes, blogs and more.

New functions

We are currently in the process of developing a dashboard for users similar to FB when you logged into it. The dashboard will have information like what events you are looking and wish to be reminded off and showing you the latests discussions that you are involved in. Its still work in progress and we are targeting for early next year to get this up.

New Products

We have been scouring around for new products and alhamdulillah our current suppliers have came out with a few new products. Do drop by our online shop to check them out.

Main Events

Singapore is lucky to have this many Muslim scholars ( local and overseas) this weekend to give talks and share their knowledge.

"The Sacred path of Love"

First, "The Sacred path of Love" with 12 Muslim scholars sharing their journey and knowledge.

The theme for this year's conference is "Gateway to Gratitude". The conference seeks to address the role of spirituality in the life of a Muslim and how we can attain felicity here and in the Hereafter by embracing the virtue of gratitude [shukr]. In times of trials, tribulations and uncertainty, it is human nature to ignore and forget the many blessings that Allah has bestowed upon us. Nevertheless, it is in the station of gratitude that we may find an oasis on the journey to Allah.

A Portrait of the Prophet - Seeking Spiritual Treasures

Shaykh Hisham Kabbani is on tour again and will be here at Singapore Expo Hall 7 this Saturday, 10 December 2011 @ 7.45pm.

Its already that hard to get they Shayks to come here to talk and yet this week we are blessed with that many scholars. Mashallah.

Event Synopsis.

Love grows like a seed and there are various factors that increases our love for someone, among them being:

1. Their physical outward beauty.
2. Their inward beautiful character.
3. The good or the sacrifice that someone does for you.

In all these factors, we find our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW foremost in them.

Who could be more physically attractive than the one who is more attractive than even Prophet Yusuf AS?

Whose character could be more perfect than the one who is "above sublime character" (Quran 68:4) and who was "sent to teach good manners" (Hadith)?

Prophet Muhammad (s) overwhelming sacrifice for us is insurmountable and beyond our comprehension.

How are we able to emulate the lofty characteristics of a Prophet that was praised by Allah for them? In these last days, is it possible for us to express our love for and gratitude to him (s) by writing poetry like the Qasidah Burdah of Imam Busairi that stands the test of time?

The speaker will bring us on a journey in knowing and loving our Prophet Muhammad and sharing with us tips on how we can follow in his (s) footsteps.
