All praises be to Allah swt, Lord of all Universe. The Most Merciful and the Most Kind. Blessings be to our Prophet Muhammad saw, his family and his companions. Assalammualaikum wr wb, We hope you are doing well and may Allah swt grant you great health, strengthen your iman and insyallah give you happiness. Time really pass very fast, only a few days ago it was Rabiul Awal where we celebrate the Prophet's Birthday and here we are now in the month of Rabiul-Akhir. I was googling for events occuring in this month and found the following facts:
** Please note that the above facts is found out through Syaekh Google, so it may be incorrect. Perhaps any historians here would aid to correct the facts. Though Rabiul Awal may be over but the Maulid season continues on. Well who says that we need to just remember Rasulullah saw in that month only right? Yes, we should be loving Rasullah saw all the time and that's why many mosques are having maulid on going all year round. What are we doing right now? Besides the on going web projects and online book/cd sales and look out for advertisers, we are currently going around the various Madrasah's to propose to them a Fund Raising proposal by us. As we have helped Madrasah Aljunied Al Islamiah to provide them with an online fund raising facility, this model can be extended out to the other Madrasah's too. We just had a interesting meeting with the Mudir (Principal) of Madrasah Alsagoff this week and we had a blast of experience learning about the school. Did you know that Madrasah Alsagoff only takes in a class of 30 students each year. Yes, its that small. So its quite difficult to enroll your children there actually. We were told that the 2013 has already been filled up also. As it is a private entity, they don't receive funds like Edusave and such from the government. So it is quite difficult for them to organise activities like camps or overseas trips for the students and developed good curriculums because of the funds available to them. So such fund raising activities will help support and developed these programs for the future generations. So .. Read on.

In the past, there used to be groups moving from one place to another during Maulid seasons ( we always hear such stories from our parents or grandparents). On the 4th of March, a few groups of bikers and car enthusiats will be gathering people who have bikes or cars to experience this Convoy journey, More details please refer to event page here.
