All praises be to Allah swt, Lord of all Universe. The Most Merciful and the Most Kind. Blessings be to our Prophet Muhammad saw, his family and his companions.

We hope you are in the best of health and iman. Today we would like to share with you a bit about commitments and priorities. In our day to day activities when we embarked on new projects we are bound to face challenges and commitment issues. There are times that we have to let go and put things on hold and focus on the important things now.

A few weeks weeks ago, we did state publicly that we are going to implement a SOUK Card which allows you to get discounts when your purchase books and CDs and also to get discounts when you dine at Halal restaurants and such. The bad news is that we have to put that on hold because we are tied down preparing for the National Ramadan campaign this year by MUIS.

Do watch out for the New Ramadan site - www.ramadan.sg appearing soon.

At this point we are pretty flushed with our day to day activities and yes we have no choice but to push the SOUK Card out later this year. Insyallah we'll target the Islamic New Year to implement it. Do pray for us and may Allah swt make this easy for us. Insyallah.

So what's happening this weekend.

Well tomorrow night ( Saturday Night - 16th of June or 27th Rejab 1433H ) is "Isra Mikraj". It is the night that Prophet Muhammad saw was brought to the Heavens to meet Allah swt. It is a long story and the facts and significances of this night will be shared by the many events happening in Singapore. This newsletter will highlight this events.

RHYTHM OF ISLAM

An ambitious attempt to promote the Islamic Arts in Singapore, Planet Spiritual presents you 3 events in One day at Masjid Sultan Auditorium on the 16th of June 2012 ( Tomorrow ).

Divine Inspiration

The festival starts with Divine Inspiration. A line up of Madrasah Aljunied Students and Harmony Orkid Choir will surprise you with a full concert. Previously they would only play 2-3 songs during High Teas and other events. But this time, its a concert dedicated just for them. A total of 7-10 songs from their album and the tunes of Maher Zain will also be played with the Angklung.

Catch them at 2pm to 3.30pm tomorrow.

Who would thought that group of students studying in Syria could sing melodies that touch our Hearts. Madeehul Mustafa is no stranger within the Qasidah circles and they don't really need much introduction.

Come and join them at 5pm to 6.30pm.

That night that the Prophet of Allah ascends to the heavens and given the chance to meet the one and only Lords of the Universe. A journey shared and told by many in the past but have you witness it ever in Poetry and Theatrical view?

Talian Khas Kepada Pencipta Alam

If you are not heading to the festival and you are from the West, Dr Fatris Bakaram ( Current Mufti of Singapore ) will be having a talk at Masjid Al Iman ( Bukit Panjang ).

Towards the end of this talk, Dr Fatris wil be revealing the new Ramadan Logo for this year.
