For the last two years, we received a lot of feedbacks about the navigations of the site. So this year we've studied various websites and discovered that information sites like Ramadan.sg requires a permanent sitemap as shown below so that you can have an easier time looking for the information that you want. .

Some Mosques have sent us updates of their events, terawih timings and such. Do check them out at www.ramadan.sg.

Camps to Sign up For!

Every year, the Ramadan Youth Committee comprising of Youth Development Officers in mosque will organise this unique camp in Ramadan. Last year, the camps were organised at 5 different locations based on the cluster system. It will stick to the same model this year. Last year a total of more than 300 participants signed up for this camp. Let's hope this popular camp don't get full. Do check them out.

What's the difference this year is that the Night of Power activities will not be integrated to the camp.

What's the next Big activity

Well most of the courses and events are pretty much full! Yes, even Ustazah Maimunah's event has 800 seats being filled. It's quite amazing that you guys are supporting all these events and registering very early. Thank you for the support to all the free and paid events. May Allah swt bless you with more knowledge and allow you to utilise the knowledge learn during the seminars and workshops.

The next Big activity besides the Ramadan Youth Camps is the "Ceramah Perdana & Malam Quran" & "Mass Qiyammulail & Night of Power". Do check them out.

Mass Qiyam

You may be wondering, who would wake up all the way at 3am just to do Qiyam. I believe many of you would do so.

Last year, we heard that Ustaz TM Fouzy actually led more than 1,000 of his jemaah to Qiyam over 10 days for the last 10 nights of Ramadan.

Well this year, we are going to attempt to attract more families for this so that it can be the catalyst for you and me to wake up much much earlier than the Sahur timing to perform Solat Tahajjud, Solat Hajat and more.

So it will be on the 9th of August - 21st Ramadan which is also the 1st night of the last 10 nights of Ramadan.

If you don't know what's happening on the last 10 nights of Ramadan, do read up this article. ( Yes we were once ignorant too... )

Extract:

The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. Therein come down the angels and the spirit by God's permission, on every errand: Peace! This until the rise of Morn." (97:1-5)

Allah also says about this powerful night in Surah Dukhan (smoke, mist):

" Ha. Mim. By the book that makes things clear. We sent it down during a blessed night. For We (ever) wish to warn (against evil). In that (night) is made distinct every affair of wisdom, by command, from Our Presence. For We (ever) send (revelations), as a mercy from Thy Lord: for He hears and knows (all things)." (44:1-6)
