All praises be to Allah swt, Lord of all Universe. The Most Merciful and the Most Kind. Blessings be to our Prophet Muhammad saw, his family and his companions. Assalammualaikum wr wb, How's your Ramadan been? We hope everything is going on smoothly. The media team was busy last Friday & Saturday covering the 5 Ramadan Youth Camps all over Singapore. The reports are not out yet but you can view what happened through some of the photos we took. Shots taken from 11pm to 12pm @ Masjid Alkaff Kg Melayu for NorthEast Mosque Cluster.
They were in the mids of being briefed for the next day. We asked them to do a cheer for us and they did really awesome for it. Videos coming soon. More photos available here. Shots taken @ Safra Yishun from 10am to 11am for SouthWest Mosque Cluster
This group were already roped up for the high obstacle courses when we arrived. And we did manage to witness one of the girls getting all the way up to the top for the ROCK Climb. Catch more photos here. Next group we manage to catch them just before they left East Coast Park around 3pm. This group from the NorthWest Cluster had to go through an "Amazing Race" activity. Some were reported to have cycled over 20km of distance because they made a mistake. Wow what a challenge that could be for these Fasting Teens.

For the Central Mosque Group, we manage to catch them after Asar for a Motivational Talk - The Brother in the picture is one of the 2015 Everest Team. He showed us his journey climbing other mountains as they prepare for this adventure.
After being under the sun for the last two groups, this was truly a blessed place to be because of the Aircon. :)
Ramadan Mascots? More photos of this group here. And finally the media team went down to Masjid Hang Jebat after Iftar. We Maghrib, Isyak and Terawih there too. Last group from SouthEast Cluster was based there.
The Solo Walk. Participants made up of Boys from Muhammadiyah Welfare Home had to go through this solo and confidence walk in the pitch dark vegetation close to Masjid Hang Jebat. The activity started after 11pm. See more photos of this activity here. So keep on reading... |

TAKE PART...Besides the daily solat, terawih, reading the quran, there are a lot of activities in Ramadan that you can be part of to revive our hearts. Through community activities like visiting old folks, helping out in bubur distribution, volunteering at camps, inspiring friends on facebook and more. Each one of us have a part to play to revive each other. So Come On Let's Do Something This Ramadan.

MHCC is dedicated to be a good neighbour to its Eunos Crescent residents. We care for their well being and we Distribution will be made on the 11th of August. ( To be confirmed )
3) Jamiyah's Children Home & MuhammadiyahDonations for Jamiyah's Children home & Muhammadiyah. This group is currently collecting dry food items and used clothing especially raya clothing for both these homes. Cash donations are also welcome and will be converted to dry food items. Pertapis may also be in part of the receiving groups as this group are awaiting for their reply.. Qiyammulail & The Night of Power
Imagine if you were to receive an NDP ticket to watch this year's National Day Parade. Would you be jumping off your seats? Well because it is rare and difficult to get those tickets? Now would you be jumping off your seat to meet a special guest at 3.45am on 9th August 2012. If you are given a ticket, would you drag along your family, friends and others there? Yes and it's rare too because it only happens once a year. Who is this special guest? Well you guessed it. It is our Lord, Allah swt. It is among the many special nights that is bestowed upon us to seek Him and to ask from Him whatever you wish for in this life. You don't have to do it alone also. Let's do it together. Let's gather in this night with your family, friends and others to pray together. Led by Dr Fatris Bakaram, Mufti of Singapore, we would like to invite you to this special occasion. Registration even though not necessary but it would be great if you could tell us how many friends or family members will be joining so that we can estimate to prepare enough food for Sahur. Tasbih or Tasbeeh is a form of dhikr that involves the repetitive utterances of short sentences glorifying God, in Islam. So its not referring to the beads but how the beads got the name is because of how it is used to count and keep track of the tasbeehs.
